About Oslostil

Oslostil is a project originally founded by photographer Hilde Holta Groven in June 2006. Since then we have become a team of people fascinated by the playfulness and originality of street fashion. We will do our best to regularly upload pictures of Oslo's stylish citizens and the various styles and subcultures they reflect.

Oslostil aims to show that style inspiration can be found on the streets as well as in expensive glossy magazines. We think that the best interpretations of contemporary fashion are done by ordinary people, and we like to think that what we document on these pages is something that in the future will be seen as the looks of the early 21st century.

We will mainly post pictures from the streets of Oslo however there might appear scandinavian inspired street style videos and pictures from other places of the world.

Why have we chosen to put ads on here?

None of the people involved in Oslostil are paid for the work they do, but there are expenses involved in running a highly successful fashion site like this one, and untill now we've had to pay out of our own pockets. While we would want to keep this site ad free and unbiased, we do need to pay the bills sooner or later.
